Does Australia Time observe Daylight Saving Time?
The Australian States that operate on Daylight Saving Time are as follows (where you add another hour to GMT):

Tasmania:
From 7/10/2007 until 6/4/2008

Victoria, Australia Capital Territory, New South Wales and South Australia:
From 28/10/2007 until 6/4/2008

Western Australia:
In 2008, daylight saving will begin at 2am Western Standard Time on the last Sunday in October, and end at 2am Western Standard Time (3am summer time) on the last Sunday in March the following year. Daylight saving was introduced in Western Australia for a three-year trial period starting December 2006. A referendum will be held in 2009 to decide whether it should become permanent.
