If you are planning a holiday visit to Australia, you will need to apply for either a visa or an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority).

An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is equivalent to a visa and allows travel to Australia for a short stay (up to three months), but there is no stamp or label placed in your passport.

The Australian Government has now made it possible to arrange an ETA via the Internet. Just click on to www.eta.immi.gov.au for everything you need to know.
